I think that this is a really good idea. Children should be out doing something, not sat at home playing on their nintendo or computer. I think the game designers are to blame. They seduce children to buy “The latest thing” when really, they should be preventing them from playing on them too much. Children need a childhood. Hope it goes well 😀

I love your idea because I think it’s really different and I like the idea of zombies because it’s pretty much what happens( I’d know because my brother like a magnet stuck to his xbox.i think you should make it quite comical with the zombies so it’d give you a laugh aswell.

  2. Kyle AND Lewis AND Ryan
    May 6, 2011 at 10:16 am

all 3 of us are sat in a row playing on XBOX with xbox conrtollers. Ryan kills Lewis on the game,(close up of death on game) lewis punches ryan, ryan gets knocked out. Then lewis gets angry and explodes ( only shoes are left), kyle stands up and screams YEY I WON!…..big writing comes up on black screen, chill out! its only a GAME!

    Our Group:
    Amy Etherington
    Joshua Steele
    Roy Duffin
    Chris Wells

    Our Idea:
Amy walks outside, she has a ‘gun’ drawn (which is really her hands) she shoots at Roy, but misses. Roy, who has a finger gun aswell, Roy says ‘You brought fingers to a gun fight?’ but pulls out a tommy gun (fake, duh) and shoots Amy. It blackens and the tag line is:
    ‘Gamers aren’t Gentlemen.’

That’s an amazing idea, you should definetely go for it

    • May 20, 2011 at 10:59 am

In understand what you are sayin’ but wouldnt that seem a bit cheesy. Are you going to replace the fingers with guns, using computers, or are you going to show how the murderer found the adress of the victim. Also I would say that you could see that they could show WHY the murderer(Roy) wants to kill Amy.

We start of filming the computer screen which has an image of hacking e.g a code page, and then Chris will walk away from the computer to then be pushed over by Ben and Ben will kick Chris in the face but that part will not be shown, after that a close up of Chris’ face will be shown with blood followed by the message “Hacking is a crime, and jails a real kick in the teeth”

Hacking is not a crime. Hacking others and doing harm is a crime unless you have there permission. Hacking is the art of exploitation. If used correctly it can be a real beauty. Only stereotypes hide the true work of real hackers. For example Geohot, the iPhone hacker who helped start of the iPhone jailbreaking revolution.

      Don’t speak before you think.

Hacking is a crime, if it wasn’t a crime we wouldnt have done the video about it,

        don’t speak before you think!

Hacking is a crime, when sony got hacked that went on the news etc, and if it was not a crime then it would not have went on the news

You think before you speak !

i would say hacking is rather a means of finding faults in a person or systems security system in fact they should be gratefull to us for hacking things now a days. i mean who hasnt homebrewed there wii lol

Christine – I like your idea, it’s simple and effective. Could you film it to make it look like amateur footage so that people don’t realise it’s an ad?

Amy – I love your tagline, but what danger are you trying to highlight?

Chris, Andrew & Ben – How does your idea communicate the dangers of online gaming or how to stay safe online? The proposal is engaging and interesting, but I’m not sure it hits the topic.

well you could have a boy on his computer thghen a message for a stranger comes up then he accepts then it blacks out then a message comes up saying never accept strangers requests

    • jess
      May 20, 2011 at 11:02 am

I think this a good idea but i think maybe something should happen aswell like they meet up and it goes wrong and then sday “Don’t accepot a stranger”

Kyle, Lewis and Ryan – I like the idea, but it doesn’t have anything about being safe online or the dangers of online gameing.

@Christine I really like your idea its short but tells alot.

i think this is a well cool idea, as it would be very effective for a viral ad! make it spooky and it will scare people to think before playing, but not to scary so that people have nightmares about it!

  12. jack davies
    May 25, 2011 at 10:39 am

i think it will make people think befor gaming all the time 🙂

That is a good idea, although do not make it too scary! Make sure you highlight why gaming will take over your life.
